Basically, we are an information security company. Just like any other. Then again, maybe not.
There are two ways to find out how safe something is: you can examine it, or you can actually test it. Now, while we wouldn’t recommend driving your car at a wall, how do you know for sure how strong it is, or how safe? This is why they do crash-testing. Instead of finding out the hard way how safe something is – or perhaps, isn’t – the logical approach is to test it out beforehand in controlled conditions, and this is exactly what we do.
Most of the time, security testing simply involves a vulnerability assessment using automated tools. That is like the guy in the garage checking your seat-belt and air-bags, and ticking boxes as he goes along.
We, on the other hand, do the crash-testing. Except we don’t actually crash anything at all. In fact, we make it much stronger, by doing what is called Penetration Testing. Effectively, we use our experience and know-how in assessing the security of IT assets from an attacker’s standpoint, using complex methodologies that we developed over the course of our 10 years in the business. In other words, we think like the hacker – but instead of causing any harm or using your information in any way, we find the breaches that could allow attackers to do so, and then we help you to fix those breaches.
Because our team has in-depth knowledge of the attitude and mindset of the attackers out there, along with their methods and objectives, we are able to deliver a service that is far superior to security audits based entirely on automated solutions such as vulnerability scanners and exploits databases.
Essentially, we are a small team that is committed to excellence in providing IT security services. We are good at what we do, which is helping others to protect their vital information. Some happy customers from the software development, webhosting, banking and defence industries vouch for us.
